Why we organise by sequence

Plenty of recipe collections focus on presentation. We focus on order: which bakes can be made weeks ahead, which keep for days, and which must wait for the morning of the gathering. Every guide lists ingredients beside method steps, gives literal quantities and temperatures, and ends with troubleshooting.

We keep three kinds of information apart. Tradition explains where a bake comes from. Technique explains why a step works. Food safety points to official guidance from bodies such as the USDA, FDA and the UK Food Standards Agency.
